City of London School – Energy‑efficient Lighting Upgrade
With a clear goal to replace ageing, lamp‑based fixtures, the school wanted to enhance learning, support creative development, and future‑proof a space used for both performance and education. Our challenge was to deliver all of this while working within the constraints of the existing infrastructure.

Orange Tree Theatre
Goal:
Upgrade ageing lighting for intimate in‑the‑round performances, while improving workflow and reducing energy consumption.
Solution:
Following extensive consultation and on‑site demonstrations, we selected fixtures offering exceptional flexibility and extremely low noise levels. The result is an enhanced performance space with energy‑efficient lighting that supports greater creativity and faster focusing, all without compromise.
Lichfield Garrick Theatre
Goal:
With a tight deadline just days before the pantomime season, the theatre needed to replace 30‑year‑old lighting. With lamps becoming difficult to source, the upgrade focused on greener, more sustainable solutions funded through a low‑carbon grant.
Solution:
Through detailed on‑site demonstrations, we identified efficient fixtures with broader colour control and low noise levels, removing the need for gels and frequent lamp changes. This delivered significantly reduced utility costs, improved safety, and greater versatility, all completed on time for setup and configuration.
Birmingham Hippodrome – Patrick Studio
Goal:
Serving a wide range of clients, the studio aimed to stay at the cutting edge while remaining true to its progressive and sustainable values. The priority was to maintain theatrical quality while transitioning from tungsten to LED to reduce environmental impact.
Solution:
Working closely with the venue through an iterative process of specification, design, and demonstration, we ensured full compatibility with the existing infrastructure. Intelligent LED fixtures were chosen to expand creative possibilities, stay within budget, and significantly reduce the venue’s carbon footprint, delivering a seamless, future‑ready transition.
