The GLP impression X5 represents the next generation of professional, high-performance LED washlights. Built on the legacy of its acclaimed predecessors, it integrates cutting-edge technology shaped by extensive user feedback.
At its core are 19 exclusive 40 W LEDs that deliver outstanding power—capable of cutting through even the most challenging lighting environments. These LEDs are specifically engineered to support an expanded color gamut, and when combined with GLP’s advanced iQ.Gamut color algorithm, the result is consistently accurate, high-quality color rendering and perfectly calibrated white spectrums.
With CRI ratings of 90 at 6,500K and 85+ at 3,200K, the impression X5 delivers exceptional fidelity across the spectrum. Multiple control modes give users the flexibility to access this expanded gamut, along with a virtual color wheel featuring 64 LEE-referenced filters, magenta/green shift, and a tungsten simulation channel.
Each LED is pixel-mappable and supported by twin-layer dynamic effects and pattern macros. The fixture features a super-fast zoom mechanism with a wide 1:16 range, from a tight 3.5° beam to a smooth, wide 63° wash, with even light distribution and no visible hotspots.
Its newly designed circular front lens adds visual appeal and geometric interest, making it ideal for both functional and creative applications. Weighing just 13.3 kg (29.3 lbs), the GLP impression X5 incorporates the brand’s signature baseless design and can be rigged in any orientation using the X5 bracket.
Built for versatility, it’s equally suited to concerts, theatre, broadcast, film, festivals, exhibitions, and houses of worship. Integrated mounting points allow for easy attachment of accessories like top hats or honeycomb filters.
Advanced control options include 16-bit pan (540°/650°) and tilt (220°), with silent to ultra-fast movement. The fixture supports DMX, ArtNet, and sACN, and includes a Near Field Control Sensor for configuration via smart devices, as well as the GLP iQ.Service Module and new FPO (Flexible Protocol Option) Port for expanded control capabilities.
Other features include variable PWM settings, auto-ranging power input, multiple performance modes, and fail-safe Ethernet ports.
