White Light ltd and SFL, d&b solutions companies, are proud to be Premium Resellers of the entire Yamaha range. We’re excited to share with you the RIVAGE PM series and just what makes it stand out against other systems on the market.
Applications
If you haven’t yet seen one of the PM Series, you’ve most likely heard one controlling the sound within highly demanding environments, from West End Theatre to some of the largest Arena & Stadium concerts. The console range is adaptable and expandable, and has something to cover everything from Live music, theatre, broadcast and more.
The RIVAGE PM Ecosystem
Comprised of a range of control surfaces, DSP engines, I/O Racks, and user-friendly software. It’s easy to see that Yamaha have focused on providing everything to create a highly configurable system that exceeds expectations, at the right price point.

Control Surfaces
A selection of five control surfaces, with a maximum of three twelve fader bays, touch-sensitive display panels and Yamaha channels selection. With familiar surface features and layout across the range, surfaces can be chosen to meet application and budget, but are interchangeable to offer future expansion as requirements grow. Also providing the potential for multiple consoles to be used as part of the same setup, for the flexibility to have redundant systems or divide control between multiple engineers and surfaces.

The RIVAGE series features a generous catalogue of on-board plug-ins, including licensed processors from names such as Rupert Neve Designs and Bricasti. Significant amounts of high-quality effects & processors are available, without needing to integrate any external hardware plugin hosts. Just one of the impressive plug-ins is the Dan Dugan Automatic Mixer. This class-leading processor allows large quantities of microphones to be easily managed by a single operator, Creating smooth transitions between performers and speakers on stage or at conferences. Building on the success of the Dugan in the CL/QL consoles, the RIVAGE PM consoles offer up to 64 channels of auto mixing.
PM Series consoles also feature the renowned Bricasti Reverb, fully licensed and with familiar controls. Several Rupert Neve Designs plugins are on board, including the Portico Master Buss Processor and the 5045 Primary Source Enhancer, favoured by live music engineers.
DSP Engines
The 5U rack mountable core of the system is available in three options for signal processing and system control. With extraordinary processing power across the range of three products, the original DSP-R10 can handle 144 inputs, 72 MIX, 36 MATRIX, and two STEREO channels. For an even greater input count the DSP-RX-EX expands this up to a maximum of 288 inputs while matching the other specifications. A cost-effective option comes in the form of the DSP-RX with 120 inputs, 48 MIX, 24 MATRIX, and two STEREO channels. The DSP-RX can be upgraded later to become a DSP-RX-EX. All units are in the same physical form factor and have four HY card slots and Two MY card slots to support various audio formats, including TWINLANe, Dante, MADI and more.
I/O Racks
The highly configurable I/O racks provide an astonishing number of options via HY and MY card slots, which ensure you can input and output audio sources by any method. With expansion cards for MADI and Dante, you can interface with even larger systems. Up to 8 RPio622 racks can be connected in one ring, and for larger applications a second ring can host a further eight, being fed into just one DSP engine via TWINLANe. The options for low-latency audio interfacing aren’t limitless but are pretty close.
Software
With a range of software designed to meet your needs available on various mobile and desktop platforms, you can mix and monitor your system in a multitude of ways. Mobile and tablet apps providing the same intuitive interface as the console surface, with a wireless workflow. The RIVAGE PM Editor, StageMix and MonitorMix will all be familiar to users of other Yamaha consoles. A console file converter is also part of the software lineup, allowing show files from other Yamaha consoles to be brought into the RIVAGE PM filesystem.
