October 31st, 2024 - 11:26

Reliable theatrical pyrotechnics, manufactured in Kent in the UK using the finest quality materials which are sourced locally where possible and from around the world for the best quality available. Their custom mixtures create more of a flash, bang and dare we say wallop.
Previously known as SkyHigh FX they’ve carried their wealth of experience through to a new generation of pyro that fits the needs of technicians while continuing to wow audiences.
Designed, manufactured and tested in house, their complete control over the process has allowed them to create effects that remove the pain points while enhancing safety.
Even producing their own gunpowder and flashpowder through an automated and repeatable process to create uniformed reliable products that won’t disappoint. Assembled and finished by hand their range of effects have some great features extending on well-known products.
They, like us, are always happy to receive feedback and are excited to see what you create.
Let’s look at just some of the features we think you’ll love
Conductive two pin firing system compatibility.

Compatible with Le Maitre Pyroflash flash boxes, the two-pin connection is now supplied as standard across the range of stage effects. The more conductive brass pins, soldered to the igniter create a more dependable electrical connection.
Reduced disruption and enhanced safety.
Paper top caps have been pre-treated with flame retardant
mixture, reducing the risk of combustion. Not only providing peace of mind, but
also saving time for the safety conscious technician.
Safe, secure and speedy delivery.

The pyrotechnics are securely shipped in UN approved packaging, along with anti-static material every precaution is taken to ensure safe delivery, most of the range falls into the 1.4 S classification allowing for a fast next day DHL delivery.
Familiar, but a little something different
Not unfamiliar to the custom requirements of their users, their pyro is often available within a range of colours, sizes and noise levels/report variations. In fact, their range often grows out of feedback received from their long-standing customers.
Their ever-expanding range seeks to ensure that you have the right pyro for the right space. Whether it’s for television, large scale touring bands, or Broadway shows, Illusion pyrotechnics strive to provide products that meet your specific needs.
Just one example of this are their robotics. Like with the rest of the range they have improved upon a familiar effect, broadening the scope of application, with safety and usability in mind.
Extending the range of well-loved effects; Robotics
This classic effect similar to the appearance of an electrical fault or blown circuit has long been a staple stage effect. The now expanded range lets you dial in the effect of small pyrotechnic devices that provide a quickly dissipating flash of silver sparks.
Supplied within minimal packaging, the anti-static bag contains the devices along with fire retardant malleable adhesive. Providing a strong fixing on a broad range of surfaces that can be easily shaped. It’s long trailing wires can also be wrapped around set for an even more simplistic mounting.
Robotic variants:
Type one:
Big, bold and bright, white/silver sparks for a brighter effect than previously available on the market. The very impactful effect can be a real showstopper for when you want to draw attention to that area of the scene.
Type two:
Produces classic gold/silver sparks with a mixture that produces the traditional well-loved effect. Ideal for use in television and broadcast the slightly dimmer effect than the type 1 will also not distract a live audience from the performers dialogue.
Type three:
A slightly slower falling shower of sparks that creates a great effect used in higher positions for an effect of dripping glowing debris.
Type four:
A flashy and much faster effect than the other varieties. The quickly dissipating flash of fewer sparks reduces potential marking or damage when used on props while remaining eye catching.
